The first placque is self explanatory but the second needs deciphering. It is the name plate of the ship indicating it was built in 1899. see note at bow of briefing chart.

A Japanese zero - probably replacement fuselage

We can't remove artifacts but it is ok to spell out your name and dive buddy in bullets.
