Eten islandThis was the land tour we made Saturday morning before departing for Gaum and on to Palau. Eten is the site of a WWII airfield. Today the airstrip is completely covered by jungle and only the sea wall remains as well as some bunkers which we visited. A few folks live on the island but with no electricity. Running water comes from gravity feed cisterns. The kids!
Fish for fishing.
The bombed out bunkers remain amongst new growth! Keeping out of the rain-->
Just before the ceiling caved in!!
